Stick with Skylake ES (i7) or go with i5-6600k?

Alright... I got a engineering sample skylake CPU, bclk'd up to 167 MHz to get 4 GHz out of it. Unfortunately, I'm incapable of getting any more out of it. Tried every setting, tried all things and can't really get any further. Nice thing though is that because it's an es it doesn't have any of the downsides of BLCK over clocking (still has temp readouts, AVX, etc)

Anyway.

So. Should I stick with this, a core i7, or sell it and get a i5-6600k?

Overall it'd probably be a 400-500 MHz difference, and I'm unsure if it's worth it. More single core perf, but less multi?

As you said

it will be better at single threads but worse in multi

you just need to decide whats best for you

i would keep the ES imo.
