Can I split raid 1 and retain data?

Thread Starter
I currently have my ssd and 2x HDD in my system. I have an OS on the ssd and an old OS on the hard drives. The issue is that with all drives in Windows refuses to play ball and boot from the OS, basically it won't ignore that there's an OS on the HDD.

Can I split the HDD that are currently co figured as raid 1 and retain the data on those drives?

Thanks

Unfortunately traditional raid doesn't allow you to split the data.
You will need to migrate the data off the drives and split the raid at that point.

You might be able to fix the boot issues from msconfig, you can select which OS you want to show up in the boot menu.
