Strange gpu speeds on Time Spy

So I'm trying to figure this out. Hopefully some insight could save me some time.

When benchmarking using Time Spy, it runs perfectly smooth with no glitches or artifacting from the gpu however upon completing and validating the test it shows the core clock speed as 600mhz. I can fidget with the speed in the bios and it will occasionally show up correctly sometimes even when increasing the overclock.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Think its just how it pulls the info about your system at the start of the test if thats what your looking at.
Mine shows 960mhz on my 1500mhz 980ti. 960mhz is what it idles at with my overclocked screen.

Ok that makes me feel a bit better. I'm not going totally nuts. Both my memory clock speed and core yoyo on that test's results, sometimes reporting what its actually set at and sometimes reporting crazy low numbers. (Just ran one at 1518 core speed and now it's displaying that correctly but my memory clock shows 933)

My slight ocd is driven nuts by the randomly changing numbers on a bench report.

Thanks for the reply smile.gif
