Need help with my new AMD Radeon HD 7770 video card :(

I posted this in like 20 forums and I dont seem to be getting any replies, was hoping someone here could help me frown.gif

So I recently bought a Radeon HD 7770 card, I dont know much about computers but I installed it myself, innitially the computer would load but everything would be blank except for Start Menu (not even clock would load), so I took out the card, spent a whole bottle of compressed air to take out any dust, tested my old card to make sure it was not something else on my system, and put the card back in.

I managed to install latest drivers, here is a pic of what it looks like:

https://s32.postimg.org/64cilrtlh/display.png

For some reason everything looks kinda blurry.... it wont let me change resolution past 1360x768, tried playing some games font blurriness persisted. Also after playing for a while at max, I was able to play with no lag, but it either make the game lock-up or with Witcher 1 it just completely restarted my computer. I dont think its PSU problems, because otherwise it would had crashed on my previous card too, with the old card if I tried to play games on max I would just lag, with this card it just locks-up....

It was supossed to be an upgrade and now I got an unusable system ;_;

Did I do something wrong? I made sure that I have right drivers, btw I unistalled the old drivers from the previous card using the "Unistall a program" application....

Any help?

I checked temps, I am hitting 30 C on idle which is pretty good

I managed to fix blurriness and increase resolution by plugging in an HDMI cable instead...now I just need to figure out what is making my game lock-up/restarting my computer.

EDIT :

Need full specs of your PC hardware wise:

Another post earlier had a similar issue and it ended up being a bad modular cable in his power supply.

Make sure all cables are properly connected to the graphics card before you power it back on.

Test the stability of your computer with the old card.
Run something like OCCT or Prime and see if your PC is stable.

Is your PC overclcoked ?
What CPU, board, power supply etc etc. you have ?

Did you uninstall all the old drivers?

I would download DDU, install it, boot in safe mode, run DDU, reboot and install new drivers, then reboot one more time..

It's likely your power supply causing it..

If my card was not propely connected, then how come its displaying things and plays games (even if for a little bit), I basically have a bunch of cables in my case, and plugged in the one that has like 6 little squares in it, there is another one attached to that one...does it matter which one I use?

As I stated in my post, computer works good with previous card, my computer is not overclocked, did you take a look at the picture I posted? That should give you the info.

I unistalled drivers using the Unistall thing you open when you type unistall into search bar, so could there be left other drivers somewhere? And like I said in my innital post, if it was power supply then how come games run in previous card?

If you want help you shouldnt show an attitude tbh.....

In the picture you linked the info i asked isnt to be seen.
Can you read in that picture what board and power supply you have, can you see in that picture if your PC is overclcoked ?

Because you could play a game poorly before with your old card doesnt mean that your system is stable.
With this new card you might just ask a little bit to much from your PC causing it to lock up, reboot and all that...
Could be the card, could also be many other things in your PC.
Easy way to rule stuff out is to test tstability with the old card.

Like another has said offcourse it could be your PSU. (amongst things)
Thats why i ask what PSU do you have.

What was your previous card ?
Maybe the 7770 pulls more power then your previous card (allthough 7770 is a low powered card though)

Sorry if I sounded like I was giving attitude, I should had put a question mark there. What sort of info do you need?

I took a bunch of pics, i read this card only needs 450W minimun but I have 600W, how can I check stability besides being able to play games on old card?
