5820K - normal temp difference between cores?

Hi guys, I've recently completed a 5820K build (Elite 130 ITX case, AsRock X99E-ITX board, Kraken X31 AIO water cooler), however I'm seeing that temperature difference between cores can be quite big. I've set the 4Ghz OC preset in bios, without any additional tweaking.
When idling, all cores are in 2-3°C range (high 20s-low 30s overall), but when I start Prime95 (Small FFTs), the hottest two cores are usually more than 10°C hotter than the other four. Is this normal? I've removed the heatsink and thermal paste three times (tried pea, X, and spread methods), and every time the result is the same. As you can see core #2 and #4 are "duds". biggrin.gif

Will this pose a problem in everyday scenarios, can I leave it like this (dismantling everything is real PITA)? Thanks in advance. thumb.gif

INTEL DTS have an accuracy of +/-5°C.
So, it can be that you have 10°c difference between coldest and hottest core.

Is that something to be worried about or not outside of benchmark/stress tests?
