XFX Core Edition Pro 850w Coil Whine after 6 years

I have been using my PSU since maybe nov 2010 so almost 6 years of usage, it recently started to make an electric buzzing sound that I believe is coil whine, this is worse when I overclock my GTX 1080 but it doesn't matter if my 4790k is Oced or not, the coil whine just seem to be louder with the 1080 oced.

This PSU was used with a 2600k @4.5ghz and gtx 580 in SLI, then a gtx 780Ti, then my 4790k and gtx 970 SLI and right now a gtx 1080 but next week I'm upgrading to skylake with a 6700k and I'll keep using the gtx 1080, so yeah this PSU was working without any issue till today.

Is this a sign that the PSU is going to die? I know that 850w was overkill and is still is but in my country it was the best psu I could get at the time, other choices where crap like sentey, noganet, overtech, ducky PSU, now I have more options but still crap like thermaltakes r2, etc.

I just want to know if I should start to consider to get a new PSU, I really don't want anything to blow up. Thanks!

Its probably a dying capacitor, no telling how long it will last. If your brave you might be able to fix it. Crack it open turn it on with a jumper and find out where the sequel is coming from. You can roll up a piece of paper and put it to your ear to find the noise. If you see a bulging capacitor more then likely thats where the sound is coming from. Its not hard to replace them. Just make sure you read up if you take this route, dont get shocked.
If your lucky it might still be under warranty.

Some PSU´s whill whine more with some video cards then with others so it might just be a case of your new GTX1080 making the PSU whine.

This.

Psu and your 1080 don't get along causing the psu to whine when another 1080 might be fine with it.

I'm sorry for the late response but I recently got time to open the PSU, I know it could be the 1080 not getting along with my unit but just to be sure here is the album with pictures of the PSU. My camera sucks but I hope you guys can spot a sign of something going bad because I really don't know what I should be looking for, thanks in advance.
