... i really should to take a stroll by IKEA and piece something simple, right now I'm just using random old style L shape office desk to fit the 3+1 monitor setup.

That's probably why I never bothered since the L desk fits just fine, but... yeah it's not aesthetically pleasing biggrin.gif

I probably should go with Black desk to match the new S8 case, .... but that will be a side project. I'll eventually get to that, after I finish all the other projects I've been working on.

I built that desk myself, adding a backboard to a desk makes cable management easier...i also drilled into the desk and hid the keyboard and mouse wiring underneath.

Honestly, if you think about it 1000$ is not that bad. I've got over 700$ in fittings alone in my build lol I think I added it up and the loop was like 2300$ before taxes.....
Really nice build though, consider it money well spent!

Yeah now that i think about it, it's not too bad...since i've seen some pretty crazy builds on this forum that far exceeds that...i just didn't think it would cost all that much once i added up everything.

STILL cheaper than a boat.

Depends on the boat... I payed $7k USD for my used 2005 18' Bayliner bowrider. At the rate some of you guys are going with watercooling you either already have or will spend that much. Only thing I've had to do to the boat over the past 4 years is put gas in it and change the oil twice. $50 in gas usually lasts me 2-3 days on the lake. I have also done some upgrades on the sound system, nav, and seating but those are extra.

Wow I am in love with the entire design of your PC + MONITOR + DESK. But does it always look that fresh or only when you take pictures? tongue.gif

Seriously, after I clean my desk within a week it is littered again with random nick knacks

I think my W/C setup cost around $1k, but I ended up with double your components it looks like biggrin.gif I saved a lot by using used fittings I found for sale here and other deals. Full price on all the rotaries and misc that I used would have been killer.

But when you end up with something that looks amazing and works amazing, it is worth it. Your setup is killer all around thumb.gif
