Bullet BH7 case

Thread Starter
Do you think this case could handle these parts

Asus Z170 S mb
6700k CPU
1200i PSU
DEEPCOOL Gamer Storm CAPTAIN 240 WHTE CPU Liquid Cooler
CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2800 (PC4 22400) Desktop
Soundcard
1 EVGA Titan
blu ray burner
AFT Pro 57U card reader
Samsumg 850 Pro SSD

Air cooled system only

How many fans could I put in this rig. In a BH7 case

How many storage drives?

Thanks

There is nothing in the parts list which is particularly big or unusual. This all should fit.
But there's no external 5.25" bays in the case, so not sure where you're intending to fit ODD and card reader.

Actually that's almost what I was looking for. Buuut... I have some questions though:
1. It says it wont fit EATX mobo. Realy? Can anyone measure internal space please?
Already waiting for BH8 case wink.gif
2. 3.5" HDDs sit in the bottom chamber. We have two stands, each holding three drives, correct? Some photos might be useful
3. Any options for a top window? Yeah: side windows + top window.
4. I'd like to see some vents for drives in the bottom. May be some slot in the front part in the bottom?
5. 60mm fans in the bottom? Asking for 80mm wink.gif

It will hold a eatx motherboard, fits the Asus rampage V edition 10. The bottom is two 80mm fans.yes the bottom holds up to two drive racks hold three mechanical hd's each or 6 ssd's with adapters. No options for too window or cents unless you mod them in yourself. Main limitation is the size of the GPU that can be used. Just about any custom PCB gpu is to long. Stick with reference length GPU. Well I think you can use a custom PCB gpu of you do not plan to use the front 120mm fans.

Thought i add to this thread as i am looking to build a 32 core opteron computer. Which means two cpus. website seems to indicate it won't fit dual CPU motherboards but to check the motherboard tray size. The webstie does not give the dimensions of the motherboard tray though just the exterior dimensions.

so can anyone tell me the dimensions of the BH7 motherboard tray?

The motherboard i want to fit in it is the Supermicro H8DGi-F (http://www.supermicro.com/Aplus/motherboard/Opteron6000/SR56x0/H8DGi-F.cfm)

dimensions of the motherboard are 12" x 13 " (30.5cm x 33.2cm)

I really like Caselabs minimalist design and want to get the most compact eatx case i can get while still fitting everything. So if BH7 won't accommodate what other small eatx cases would you recommend?

finally if its possible to fit in a bullet BH7. I was curious if its easy to adapt a 240 RAD to the bottom? Would the hoses be able to clear with large motherboard i am using?

Thanks
-Mike

Hi.

12x13 is standart EATX and won't fin in BH-7. However there's a "BH-7" coming, though it will named differently. There's a topic "something wicked this way comes" and CL posted some prototype pics there.

I'm looking for same thing: smallest EATX case. If you don't have many drives you can easily mod something like NZXT S340, there're pics with EATX board inside: it looks just perfect.

Here is a pic of the EATX/SSI-EEB (12" x 13") tray for the upcoming BX8 (official name):

The STH10 would require the HPTX option on the motherboard tray and chassis divider to allow for SSI-EEB boards. XL-ATX motherboard trays/chassis dividers will not house an SSI-EEB as they're too short width-wise. http://www.caselabs-store.com/sth10-form-factor-conversion-kit/

Will the BX8 fit a 280mm radiator? I ask simply because i assume a 360 is too long and i want to fit the biggest dual fan radiator i can.

Thanks
