Impressive optimization. I remember when Battlefield used to be resource hog and one of the most demanding games, and now it's one of the most optimized games. thumb.gif

It is using a similar version of Frostbite with the one used in Battlefront, I don't see anything peculiar there.

Like the first game, Titanfall 2 is using a modified version of the Source game engine, along with a custom audio and texture streaming system created in-house

I had a nasty suspicion that would be the case. Thanks for sharing that.
The only thing that may be like Battlefront is the movement, and they simply "copy-pasted" it for the alpha for convenience. Movement will be completely different for beta and release, particularly acceleration (less adadadadadad).

As an addendum, i'd ignore anyone saying this game is WWI Battlefront. It's one of the red flags from dismissive players who actively look for anything to criticize DICE games. You should try reading closed alpha forums. You have no idea what kind of idiotic crap people make up to validate some sort of imagined sense of betrayal, particularly weapon balance.

Ah, thanks, I thought that was a little weird. A simple note stating that SLI/crossfire have no effect would have sufficed.

Looks like titan x should be on top of this chart because it has 12 gb wink.gif if that's so important to this game for 4k.

Looks like an overclocked GTX970 will have no problem running the game. Possibly might run into the 3.5GB Vram issue but we'll see...thumb.gif
