3398/9 vertical bug?

I've tried this with my razer deathadder chroma and asus rog gladius: when moving them quickly either up or down they'll sometimes malfunction, specially at lower dpi and high polling rate(400 dpi and 2khz settings on the gladius made it quite common).

This is what i mean:

Is this just me trying to move the mouse like a furious demon or are both mice bugged? frown.gif

Have you tried it on different surfaces?

I tried on qck+ dota version qck mini and a Sharkoon mousepad, i don't have any more mouspads. Also, i tried lod calibration, maybe it's just me, i play cs go with 400 dpi 1.3 sens so maybe im overpassing the sensor limitation?

A quick update just in case someone has been suffering from the same problem: swapping both mice to a usb 3.0 that is not powered by the mobo(front panel, monitor) fixed this.

What mainboard are you using?

Asrock z77 fatality, the one with the "special" mouseport that lets you configure the polling rate.

Most "Killer" motherboard range has that special port. Only good thing about Asrock really, in providing it for all the WMO and IE users specool.gif .

Are you running the newest BIOS/UEFI version?

I'm using Gigabyte XM300 mouse (3988) and tried both 500hz and 1000hz (there are no setttings beyond that) and have never encountered bahaviour resembling what OP showed.

Why would you even want to go beyond 1khz? tongue.gif
