Qnix qx2710 monitor black screen

Thread Starter
Hi. I just purchased a 1440p qnix qx2710 for my gaming pc and got it today. I set it up but the screen won't turn anything besides black. The power led turns blue, and when i go into the display manager on my pc it recognizes that it's connected. I've downloaded what i believe to be the correct qnix drivers for the monitor still to no avail. I also tried plugging it into my xbox through an hdmi to see if it would work. The light turned blue when the xbox was powered on but nothing more than that. If my pc idles, it will turn red, and if i move my mouse it goes back to blue. I'll note that currently my gpu is only a gtx 650 ti, I purchased a gtx 1070 but it's still in shipping currently. Could this be the issue I'm having? The gpu simply can't handle the resolution so it won't display it? I should have my 1070 should be here thursday so if it doesn't work then I guess it's just a faulty monitor. Do you guys think it could be this? Or what else could it be?

I had similar issue on first bootup ....... the power button is below ... press it once ........ there is a round button beside the red/blue led but it's a fake button that does not press in

didn't need to install any driver on my pc ... it's plug and play

these monitors are not very compatible with other display output other than graphic card
