[GIGABYTE] GIGABYTE Launches RX 480 G1 GAMING Graphics Cards - Page 3

It's almost as if that ad is a premonition of what's to come. The only thing it's missing is the obscene price tag.

Well, do you realize what you get when you mix red and green?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Brown, you get brown. Just let sink in for a moment.

Does this mean that the 480 G1 provides for better VR experience than the 1060 ever could ?

It's an amd card. You could slap 10 fans on it and still heat your house.

can anyone tell me when the last time they advertised the gpu gauntlet binned process? 460/470/480 SOC series was good, 5xx SOC series was good and the 680SOC was very good but a limited run of like 200 cards. dont remember the last time that was advertised for a gigabyte card as having been binned. could be interesting!

Unlike GTX 1060, at least Gogabyyet RX 480 supports SLI. biggrin.gif

Not to be too snide, but wouldn't that mean water cooling solutions are unnecessary as well?

I always thought 3 fans were effective in lowering the overall noise.

They actually did that with Maxwell later in it's lifespan with the Xtreme Gaming cards
