DP monitors messing up my desktop

Thread Starter
I have two, soon to be three, monitors using the Display Port. Every time that I turn on the main monitor, it has all the windows that I put on the 2nd monitor on the primary one. How do I get it to remember where I put Windows on the 2nd monitor?

That is strange. I have 3 monitors, two with display pot and one with dl-dvi and I turn them all off regularly without this happening.
It seems like your displays are automatically re calibrating when you turn off your monitor.

Are you turning it off by the monitor power button, or are you turning it off at the main power, so the monitor is completely void of power?

Windows automatically moves windows back to the main monitor when it thinks the second monitor disconnects.
So it sound like for some reason your second monitor is disconnecting from the computer, which is causing that.

Yeah that's what I was getting at. If you turn the monitor off with its "off" button, it shouldn't disconnect from the computer.
If you turn it off at the wall, it explains why you are seeing these results.

So do you think this is a wire issue? I am just pressing the power button on the monitors.

Edit: When I load into BF4, it messes with my icons and placement of the windows on the 2nd monitor too. But when I alt tab, it returns to normal.

Edit2: Fixed that... Wrong res in game. LOL.
