So EVGA recently announced the pricing for the Classified 1080 card and its $750, is it just me or does that sound really high?

really high for just FTW clock plus 4+1 pahses plus EVbot, there better be some serious binning and OVing going on to make it worth $70 more than FTW. For one I feel good I didn't wait for it and grabbed a FTW on my first chance.

Exactly my thought, I'm glad I'm not alone lol that being said if the OCs are insane then I'll be happy but still, $700-710 would've been plenty imo. Still gonna pick up two just cause I like knowing I have "best of the best" but still.

I think pricing of these cards is insane to begin with. Only Gigabyte G1 1080 seemed to price properly at 650 bucks.

I don't think the price is insane, I mean if you compare it with the 980s when they launched its a bit higher yeah, but the 980 also didn't out do every card on the market by 20% (if I'm not mistaking) so getting a card that can out do a $1,000 card by 20-30% for $650 is pretty solid to me, but to have a price gap of more then $100 for just a different model of the same card is a bit crazy lol

Why would you buy this when you can buy FE and overclock it more?

classified isn't the top tier EVGA product anymore is it?

I think KINGPIN is the highest and most expensive EVGA cards if I am not mistaken
