I recently put together a win10 machine earlier today. Worked great, seemed to be going well. Then suddenly on a reboot (this was within an hour of intermittent use and low 20c temps) there was a boot file error. I went to fix it through the windows cd and cmd prompt, but it couldn't find the drive. Looked in the bios of my x99a Carbon pro and the drive is not there as in the m.2 port, however it shows up in the boot priority list as the name when you select to use the hard drive.

I've tried everything from updating the bios, to attempting to reinstall Windows, to looking in all the bios settings. Going to try to clear the cmos and/or install win10 to another drive to try to look at the pc.

Any similar experiences or advice? Any help is appreciated
