For me nothing beats a SteelSeries QCK+ Special/Team Edition like these ones
They are 1mm thicker and have a slicker surface than the normal plain black QCK+:

But if you wanna go all black i would recommend the SteelSeries QCK Heavy

The 'special' QcK's are slightly different to the normal black QcK's. They have slightly less control and slightly more speed due to the graphic.

They're coated, the regular QCK is uncoated ( at least before the revision) - I believe the new revision ones are still uncoated but they for sure changed wherever they're produced cause the top layer feels a little different than the old ones

many mousepads are great for fps.

there was no choice when there was only qck

now we can choose whatever we want

best mousepad for fps is best mousepad that fits you

many people said qck is best but it didn't fit me.

i used goliathus old one and after that i used roccat sense.

it was great but very vulnerable.

i am korean and every korean should go army so i stopped playing gaming during that time.

after discharged from military, i searched for mousepad that fits me.

it was difficult to find and i bought 4 pads to find what fits me

cougar arena was good but i didnt like thick one

goliathus became thinner but still didn't fit me

steelseries dex was great but small

and zowie g-tf speed version. it was great. the size was a little small than i expected but that was ok

now i am using zowie g-tf and gonna buy 3~4 same one.

hope you find mousepad that fits just for you.

Spoken like a REAL person here. Whatever suits you is the BEST mouse pad for you, be content with that advice.

Thats the problem with mousepads. You have to order quite a lot of these to get a good sample size you can choose from / test.
I am still unsure which one to order first..

Allsop
PC Gaming Race
Bootleg Goliathus from eBay

Inexpensive, easy to find, large sizes available, pick your glide.

I got the pc gaming race XL heavy from amazon, it's not that bad - but a lot of the reviews claim it has a fast glide.. so either the mouse feet on my current mouse are causing it to be slow or all the reviwers don't know what they're saying cause it feels 100% like a control pad, no heavy static friction but the glide isn't super fast. Overall for the price I honestly can recommend it - it's cheaper than the competition and just as good if not better. I got the 5-6mm version cause I like da comfy

Probably my last mousepad I'll try unless razer announces a new solid colored cloth pad - in which case I'd try that but I'll settle with the PCG, feels like it'll last long plus so easy/cheap to replace

destructor 2 is the king of mousepads.

For me personally the best mousepads are cloth ones with high quality thick foam (not QCK) packaged in a hard case (not wrapped in a tube) so that they arrive with no ripple and finally I avoid brand logo that are printed on.

Artisan are definetly the best to my knowledge but can be a bit small for very low sens and quite expensive
