I bought a Puretrak Talent cause they are on sale and I have to say that it is great, it is an improved version of Qck Heavy, the glide is amazingly good, it feels better than the GTFX by Zowie. I have only been using it for 2 days but it feels so good.
Where did you get it from? Puretrak has them on sale but it's $7 or something for shipping unless your order is over $30, and at that point I may as well get an extra for a friend or something. I'm torn.

That is what I did, got one for me and one for a friend + some mouse feet.

Thanks.
To anyone with both, how does the glide/slickness of the Puretrak Talent compare to the Artisan Raiden? I love the feel of the Raiden but damn, nothing tracks well except my DA 4G but I'm a bit tired of that mouse.

Is it me or those pads looks like they are used for quite some time, it looks so dusty, might be the light from the camera taken those pictures.

i can say only soft pads that i've used.

if you want speed pad, use zowie g-tf(or p-tf), steelseries dex, mionix alioth, cougar speed2. they are great speed pads.

if you want balanced one, use steelseries qck, razer goliathus speed, roccat taito, ozone origen, zowie g-sr, quad gaming fab. they have great balance. some people say quad fab and g-sr are slow pads, but they have good speed enough.

if you want really really slow one, look for cougar control2, abko croco premium, mionix sargas with larger sized pad under it. sargas is good slow one but it's too thin. you may feel sargas too fast but if you put a larger thick pad under it, it becomes slow one.

my personal choose, for speed pad, i'll choose zowie g-tf. good durability, never slips from desk, my favorite thickness.

courgar speed2 feels like smooth leather surface. stitched edges, great speed pad.

for balanced, i'll choose g-sr and quad fab. not so fast, not so slow. they are not water-proof. so you should be careful using them. g-sr have stitched edges and soft surface. slides well and it makes my mouse stop wherever i want.

quad fab has no stitched edges. thicker than g-sr(5mm). it has really soft surface feels like velvet.

for slow one, well, i can't choose. they are too slow and have critical flaws.

sargas have low durability. cougar control2 have sensor skipping issues with some mice and have low durability(better than sargas, but not so good). abko croco is a leather pad.(maybe artificial) it feels like using mouse on rubber surface. so if you want really really super slow pad, you can use this.
