While my cards seem to be game stable at around 1970-2025 Mhz 100% FAN, it will fail 3Dmark due to too aggressive of a TDP limit causing core voltage to drop too aggressively. I'm thinking I can do 2050Mhz max on Water on these cards.

My cards will only do 1780-1800 on 120% TDP + 100% FAN before throttling in 3Dmark with 0 offset. Memory seems to be good up till +450.

Luck of the draw. If you can be bothered, you can always exchange...

What I want to see is logs of other people's cards. Can make some good correlation of ASIC quality of pasta based on their boost bins, voltage bins and overall OC potential if we have enough data points.

That's what I suggested earlier in the thread when people got their cards. So far it seems overclocks aren't that great.

That stuff just has too much resistance IMO. Went ahead and ordered Liquid Ultra.

Strange thing happened too when I did the shunt mod. My EVGA Hybrid turned into a Arctic Accellero what the heck?

This air cooler is actually a beast. Cools just as well as the EVGA Hybrid and it's quiet. Going back to all air with my new system. All of these modern components just don't put out the heat like they used to.

So I guess fitting waterblocks won't do much...

I'm actually looking forward to what we get with aftermarket cooling for these cards. It looks like they are simply begging for a better cooling solution.

It will lower temps but won't do much performance as of now.

I disagree. Even if we dont achieve higher clockspeeds we will see much more stable clock speeds which smoothens the experience significantly. Right now they fluctuate on benchmarks and in most games based on thermal and power restrictions. Once temps go below 50 c delsius with watercoolingh this changes. I see this with my 1080 and basicvally the titan is the same chip with more cuda cores and higher memory bandwith.

That is kind of the point though. As of right now performance is slightly degrading because the card seems to start toggling at around 80 degrees. I agree that I don't see the headroom in overall OC increasing, but keeping clocks solid would only improve performance.

It'll help with boost throttling due to temps. I think I can hit 2050+ in some games that don't trigger hard TDP limits. If I had these on water. In 3Dmark the temps should help even with throttling. Can always just add more offset to core clock to raise the clocks at the TDP throttle bin!

These cards can be stable at 1950+ at under 1.03V

Koolance QDCs get here Tuesday so I'll have these under water by Wednesday.
