Maybe they'll move to Volta early.
Nope. You'll only see the 1080 Ti possibly in the next couple of months. No full chip Pascal Titan.

Yes, if there is a Ti variant this time. Given the TXP is 30% faster than a 1080, how fast would a Ti be 28% or 15%.?

Even Mathematically it doesn't make sense releasing a "Ti" Doubt there'll be one.

Judging from another thread, there are a few people scoffing at TXP owners and waiting on their 1080Ti which they are sure will be released soon.

I've zero experience with CLU always used traditional paste.

I've heard the one mention of Conductonaut, anyone know if that's the best to use or if another would be more viable.

I figured I'd get a bunch and do multiple practice attempts on random old stuff before trying on the Titans.

Heh , i can only immagine the fuzz it'll bring if they decide to test HBM on 1080 Ti if for some reason it does show up biggrin.gif

The problem with that is from benchmarks etc this would essentially be an expensive side grade at best right?

I think it really depends what you want to do with the Titan XPs. I had the SLI 980TI setup. It was pretty good with 4k as long the game support SLI. But after getting an Oculus Rift, I realize, yes it's OK, but I want better. I looked at the 1080, but people were still not able to get MAX graphics setting with a single 1080 in VR. When the Titan XP was announced, and looking at the specs, I knew it will do MAX Graphics @ 90fps and then some. The choice was clear.

My second reason for jumping to the Titan XP was the 3x 4k monitors.

Conductonaut is supposed to be more conductive than CLU from what I have read.

I wonder after applying clu/conductonaunt to shunt, could you cover it with liquid electrical tape so it doesn't run off?

I've had mine a few days and I say its worth the upgrade from 1080GTX SLI on my Acer X34. Games like ESO are now butter smooth which wasn't the case on 1080GTX SLI (settings maxed). Even with the photo realistic mod on GTAV (settings maxed) I'm still getting a solid 70fps overall. Forza 6 Beta with all settings maxed looks great with frame rates rarely dipping below 100fps.
