Too true. We are on the bleeding in edge. Wait for volta, then wait for next one year. The guys here who throw $2500+ know what the game is about!

god damn nvidia! they always break stuff when putting artificial limits on their hardware.

I can't even do the 4way SLI for these new cards.. even on benchmarking....

That's the architecture debut at an industry conference, not the date you'll be able to purchase one. And of course they're not going to release the next Titan as the first member of the product family, you'll see 1180s and 1170s first (or whatever they decide to call them).

Maybe, but, most who buy this GPU will be waiting on the Volta equivalent...

Not without a serious power mod... I'll bet it would be sucking down close to 400W at that point, much of the additional amperage coming over the PCI-e slot too. We all know where that leads...

I just called NVIDIA support. Im on FREE shipping (bought mine at 6.02 am day) and they said they will be processing the orders within the next 24 hours, so I guess shipping in 48 hours. I wanted to cancel and reorder with overnight shipping but considering Im still waiting for the blocks, a couple days more won't hurt, plus I will know how far these babies can go with the guys getting their cards first.

Who is going brave enough to test that?

Do you need to request a key or something? I know going tri for 1080s you have to. I think anyway.
