Its like going to McDonalds and arguing with other customers why they order a Big mac because it is waste of money as 2 Cheeseburger are cheaper and have more calories...

Dont project your personal situation on others...

No, its like going to the most expensive steak house in town and doing something similar.

I mean same thing if you order 2 cheeseburgers and can only eat one and if your order two steaks but you can only eat one isn't that a waste of money to you?

But there is a benefit of having 2 Titansin some cases even if the benefit relatively small and not available in every application while there is no disadvantage in any other situation as you can just deactivate the 2nd card. So its not a complete waste.

Le'ts take a quick look at game released in 2016 that are notable:

FarCry Primal:

XCOM 2

DOOM
http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/matthew-wilson/doom-will-be-getting-sli-support-soon/ (Not sure if it was released or not yet but it wasn't there when i finished the game)

Quantum Break
Windows 10 Store exclusive no SLI support

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst
https://forums.mirrorsedge.com/discussion/1930/sli-support

No Man's Sky, Deus Ex Mankind Divided also no support.

List can go on forever if I include 2015 and 2014 etc...

What is really ignorant is ignoring how bad SLI actually is for a gamer that plays games.
It's not about more frames its a waste of money when you get problems in games or you just can't use the second card.

NMS and Deus SLI drivers released earlier this week.

FC Primal, game is cpu bottle necked. Once settings are high enough scaling is good. I played the game @4k with good scaling.

Windows UWP lacks many basic functions of PC gaming. A lack of SLI support shouldn't be a surprise given just how bad the platform support PC features.

XCOM 2 I am honestly not familiar with so I honestly can't say either way. I don't recall the game every being graphically intensive though.

As a gamer that plays games, I can't help but feel as if your opinion is very uninformed.

Did you really just post in the Titan-X owners thread that SLI is a waste of money? Titan-X is a waste of money, you think anyone here gives a crap? What, are you going to go to a car forum scroll down to the exotic section and start saying how getting different features on a Lambo is a waste of money next?
I think the discussion is misinformed on both sides. Plus, you know it's time to move things along when the car analogies come out.

yar!

back to using a lighter to catch your old acetal Titan X faceplate on fire and scraping away the molten burning parts to get it to fit on the new Titan-XP after going full retrard and breaking the Titan XP faceplate by overtightening the screws.

Common guys.. please just take it outside smile.gif

For the ones who already received their EK block..... Isn't it possible to somehow use the factory default backplate ? (maybe longer screws)
