Windows UWP lacks many basic functions of PC gaming. A lack of SLI support shouldn't be a surprise given just how bad the platform support PC features.

XCOM 2 I am honestly not familiar with so I honestly can't say either way. I don't recall the game every being graphically intensive though.

As a gamer that plays games, I can't help but feel as if your opinion is very uninformed.

I mean I read a lot of excuses here there but fact is fact lots of issues are there

Also it's funny that you think releasing a driver and stating SLI support mean it's ok. Fallout 4 has SLI support that's completely useless as are many other games.

Deus Ex has a dx12 renderer and looking at total war war hammer and rise of tomb raider there is a high chance SLI support there is DX11 only.

Yes, I run into peoples subjective thoughts as "facts" in the audio world too. People who claim to be able to tell the difference between a few ms of input lag, or minuscule frame time variances, or that speakers sound better with X cable over Y cable virtually always get wrecked in blind A-B comparison tests.

Why not? It's not like anyone needs an exclusive membership passphrase to get in here to see the 50% avg performance increase over a GPU that can now be acquired for merely 1/4 of the cost. If someone else feels like going to a car forum, they probably will and hopefully they have good points to counter marginal gains praising there as well. There's one BIG exception though, those cars retain or even increase their value, making such an car antagonist irrelevant versus here.

For the ones who already received their EK block..... Isn't it possible to somehow use the factory default backplate ? (maybe longer screws)

I played with it a bit, you can, but the trick is those little bolts you need the 4mm socket to remove act as standoffs for the stock back plate, would take the right combination of thermal pads to get it to work. The screw Nvidia used are smaller as well so you will have to bore the holes out a bit larger as well.

The point is, these folks are the wrong target audience. People who get T-X gpu's are folks who want top of the line performance, and are willing to pay big bucks for even marginal gains, enjoy benchmarks and the thrill of getting that max 3dmark score, or enthusiasts who just enjoy building nice rigs. All this "Micro stutter" "poor scaling" and "only available in AAA titles" stuff means nothing to this target audience.

I'm not arguing the statements about SLI, I'm simply saying no one who is using SLI here in this thread care so it's wasted time and energy.

Now I'm done on the subject.

NOw ^^ this is what a TXP owners thread should be talking about! thumb.gif

@dante`afk - take this quixotic argument elsewhere... politely asked.

I get the feeling a lot of these negative Titan X posts are from users who don't actually own a titan x, but subconsciously wish they could wink.gif. I see the same cycle of trolls for twenty years every time a new card comes out. And before any stupid flame war starts - if you even feel the need to argue my post that is proof alone. If you don't own a Titan X plan on owning a Titan why bother posting about it? Do you think k people who've purchased the Titan X are going to say you're right I'm going to return my card and by a jaton?
