You need SLI for 4k and above to have an acceptable framerate though.

Is there a way to remove this guy from the thread? He's constantly trolling and never contributing anything useful to the thread or to the site as a whole.

Only have to look at LG's 2016 oled line up to see they are back tracking with the whole curved TV idea and focusing on flat versions from now on.

Apart from one model all the others are flat.

I would not be surprised one bit to see the 2017 line up to be all flat.

Most people on AVS Forum hate curved TV's as well, and I'm one of them.

Bud, that's an opinion, not a fact.

What a silly way to use the word fact for a completely subjective opinion. There are only two 2016 LG panels, 55" and 65". Doesn't matter how many models they come out with a different silly built-in sound bar. I guarantee their 2017 lineup will have a curved version.

Oh, and saying "most people" adds zero credence to your point of view. "Most people" in this world are mouth breathers. I guess you better go tell the designers of the ten million dollar military flight simulators I fly and Imax designers to switch to "flat" displays. rolleyes.gif

OK, so, new drivers work, SLI works, but the game has very erratic FPS. Dual Titans at one point give 70ish, and at another 120ish FPS on 1440.

That's dx11 draw call limitations. Same thing that happened in rise of the tomb raider where you'd drop as low as 60fps in parts of Soviet station. Soon as dx12 came out though, my fps in those areas jumped to 140+. Gotta wait for that patch. And hope that multi gpu support comes along with it.

I'm not going to go over all the pro's vs con's of both, that crap has been beat to death on the AVS Forum.

Curved has picked up more in Asia and Europe. Historically though, they have been more willing and apt to change/adjust than Americans are. I'll probably never own a flat display again.

As a matter of fact, I'd buy a 55" version of this for my computer:

Now THAT'S a curve. None of that weak sauce available in the states.I wouldn't want that on my TV though, only monitor.

Does this really mean +100% as in double the voltage? That would seem it would kill the chip instantly.

How do I interpret the percentage value on this slider, so I know what I am doing?

It's 100% extra of whatever the card is currently using as an offset, not of the base value. Every TITAN XP is locked to 1.0925V max no matter what you do with this slider.

For example:

My card auto settings are 1.05v, with offset of 0.02v based on thermal and power availability. +100 on this slider will allow an offset of 0.04v instead, for a total of around 1.09V instead. Nothing major, but all we have for now.

To test it's working, get your card VRel limited (OC it and run a light 3d workload while fan and power targets are maxed usually does it) then play with the slider. you should see your voltage change slightly.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, it is.

For the last few years, I had a fast enough video card at my resolution, so when I vsynced it to 60hz, I had no need to overclock it. I ahvent actually overclocked much since the "new" dynamic overclocking style introduced with the GTX680. Most of my GPU overclocking was with the old static style before that.

I wonder how much higher of a clock this will get me before I run into the power limit.

Pretty happy with performance overall, still need my hb bridge, evga ones are hard to come by.

How are you exceeding the +120% limit? Have you done a shunt mod?
