Hello there, I also played some bf1 today. I run everything on ultra and I can only go up to 60% resolution any higher I'll drop below 60 fps., at 100% I'm going at 30fps. What kind of performance are you getting? Im not water cooling my Titan and with bf1 I'm hitting 70c with 90% fan speed. I'm using a 3440x1440p 100hz panel.

I've been contemplating going sli to see if it would be possible to have every setting maxed out and see if I could get that constant 60fps. Could anyone give me advice? Will two Titan XP achieve that perfect 60fps at maxed or settings? Thanks

Yes its a nightmare. I never experienced whine this bad before. Gonna try put it on heavy load this weekend while im out doing other things. Hopefully few 10hour sessions will remove the whine.

42% is ur native resolution in BF1. Ultra preset and native res on a 1440p monitor i never dropped below 150fps in BF1. I ran it in DX11 though.

You should not have to stress your $1200 GPU to try and fix coil whine.

My 1080s both had some rather annoying whine. My FE 1070 and TXP seem to both be fine, however. My 1080s were G1s....go figure.

hey guys,

was wondering if getting around 100-120 fps in BF1:Beta using a 6900k and a titan x (pascal)at 4k resolution is decent or not

thanks.

Oh I see. I forgot to mention I'm running it on dx12. If I increase the resolution to 100% I get 30 fps with every setting maxed.

100% is 2x your native resolution, thats why you only get 30fps. Play around some with the slider til you get the fps target you are looking for or set it to 42% for your native resolution.

I also had some terrible coil whine after putting my Aqua Computer Backplate on. It turned out I overtightended the screws. I put them lose again and was gentler the next time. Its gone for now thumb.gif
