I also ordered another seasonic snow white 1050w and with both psu i have the same noise coming from both titan

Planning to Ship back both card.
I think its unacceptable spending $1200 for a gpu and have this annoying high level of noise.

Has anyone the same psu and coil whine issue?

Any help would be appreciate
Thnaks

I went through these as well. Except I have EVGA 1600W SuperNOVA PSU. I RMAed cards so 4 of them have coil whine. Also today I have changed my PSU and cards still whine. I don't know what else to do :\

I have coil whine too on my card, but after I put it on water and it's inside the case, I cannot hear it at all. The D5 pump is the loudest part in my computer. redface.gif

Recent cards, two Titans, Two kpe 780tis, one Maxwell Titan and one Pascal Titan, no coil whine.

Odd thing to point out, had massive coil whine when I installed a nickel back plate from ek on the Maxwell Titan. The regular black ek back plate was ok.

Went to reinstall the nickel back plate again a couple months later, the coil whine was a lot better.

Has to be system, grounding related with some systems and coil whine some of the time.

yeah - unfortunately the same users keep RMAing cards claiming coil whine... one, maybe, but 4 and I'm 100% sure it is not the cards whining. blinksmiley.gif

How did you like the experience?

I'm seriously considering making the switch, SLI nowadays seems to be broken in so many game launches that there's been periods of weeks where I didn't even bother re-enabling sli after a driver update....

As a bonus question, would you wait for the 1080ti instead?
I'd watercool the card for sure, and the money isn't a huge problem for me but saving a bit is never a bad thing.
That said, there's always something better/faster/cheaper around the corner...

I moved from a GTX Titan X (Maxwell) SLI setup to a single Titan X Pascal and it has been brilliant. For games where SLI doesn't work or for VR where SLI isn't utilised the TXP is massively faster than 1 GTX TX also games where SLI worked are now running super smooth. I never thought I noticed SLI stutter previously but seeing how smooth 1 card runs I am sure I had it.

I have now also upgraded my 27" 1440P monitor to a 32" 4K G-Sync monitor as most games were running in 4k downscaled to 1440P previously anyway but for any that drop below 60FPS the G-Sync now smooths it out. ANything over 60FPS is managed with Fast Sync which really works well. smile.gif

I thought about the 1080Ti but wanted a faster single card now and the TXP was a big enough jump in performance for me to move from the previous GTX TX.

Weirdly enough I haven't actually bothered with VR since getting the TXP and 4k monitor. I'm loving the new level of gaming smile.gif

How did you get sli working for The Division? I thought it was forever broke.

They don't even realize that a cooler does not cause coil whine, it will still be present without a cooling solution.
