[Official] NVIDIA Titan X Pascal Owners Thread - Page 56

So, after seeing this thing my faith in ultra-wide went up a ton. This is HUGE frankly for budget gamers and such. This monitor and others like it will see widespread adoption of 21:9 i bet you. It's 29 inch which is big enough to give an immersive feel, it's only 2560x1080 which means you can run it on a cheap card like an RX 480 without much issue, it's a quality LG AH-IPS panel with 99% sRGB coverage that also overclocks to 75hz due to having Freesync, oh and it has freesync lol. And it's only $275 new cost!

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01B9IDLAW/ref=psdc_1292115011_t3_B01CX26VNC

If this kinda thing doesn't bring widespread adoption to 21:9 by game developers in the next year or two i'll be eating crow for a month. I mean, hell, i'm not an AMD fan really (thus my presence in this forum lol) but even i would've snagged this up instead of the ASUS VG23AH that i picked up when i got back into PC gaming after years of absence. I had bought one of the "ibuypower" pre-built rigs with an i5 3570K and GTX 660 (gigabyte 1gb model) in an NZXT mid tower with a 500GB WD Blue iirc and a cheapo 500w PSU. But there's not much difference between a GTX 660 running a 23.5" 1920x1080 monitor like the VG23AH and running a 2560x1080 29" monitor like this. And i paid ~$180 for the VG23AH after rebate ($200 normal price), i would've GLADLY got something like this instead, even knowing i had an Nvidia card; as i could've always sent the pre-built back and re-configure a new one with a 7870 or something lol.

Maybe i was mistaken. It might've just been people TYPING that they got over 30k on firestrike; not posting pics. I know for sure i saw a 30k+ scores a couple times recently though. Check this out:

http://www.overclock.net/content/type/61/id/2841708/

That's a stock speed TITAN X getting 26,660 in firestrike at FHD. We're seeing on average around ~19-20% increase in performance with a decent overclock of around ~1,950mhz (so far i've got mine to 1,975mhz with the reference cooler. Others have hit as high as 2,050mhz or so already) and if you take 26,660 and add that ~19-20% from the overclock that we see in other benchmarks, it gives you an average score of somewhere between ~31,725 - 31,992 which is exactly what i've been seeing from the few peopel who posted their graphics scores for FS (~31,000 - 32,000 or so)

Finally im 100% stable at +210 core and +750 mem. I have problem to run witcher3 smoothly even if i downgraded some settings even lowered my 4k resolution to 2k or less, i still have a lot of stuttering. Sometime the stuttering can be a half second, its not fun at all, even my 1070 and 980ti didnt have this stuttering problem, better playing 40-45fps and no stuttering. The game is stuttering with or without vsync even if still 60fps solid.i need help frown.gif until now i dont have this problem with any other game, thanks if you can help me, or try the game in 4k by yourself, maybe the drivers?
Note: it do the same problem with stock clock for core and mem

Can u check LatencyMon at idle and running in the background while gaming? This looks like DPC latency spikes we experience with 1070/80 from the very beginning.

Not sure if this is your problem or not. But when the memory clock goes up too high, you actually end up getting errors. And the error correction that's done, causes huge spikes in fps.

What is that in red???
