Please someone with knowledge with this question please provide some input as it would be greatly appreciated!

I just dont want this to get burried.... can someone please add some input on this before i make this purchase please... thanks

The single card OCed has better performance than my previous TX Maxwell SLI OCed. I apologize that I cant be more accurate in the statement, but I have only tested a few AAA titles.

The performance varies depending on the title but I haven't seen anything that actually runs slower.

As for OLED, all I would have to do is load up the new DOOM on my 4K OLED and it would be impossible not to convert someone to it's epic-ness. My X34 looks like a kids piece of junk next to it.
When I say maxed out, I mean every setting is at it's highest besides AA. AA is very subjective, and you can toss huge amounts of performance out the window with AA. With 4K, FXAA looks pretty good to me. Once you start talking maxed out with crazy amounts of AA, DSR etc, that's a huge rabbit hole.

nod nod to the oled 4k. Doom and the witcher 3 blow me away when i play on the TV. I have the Acer XB321HK 4k and on that it looks like totally diff (and ****ter) - the gysnc (even at 60hz) is pretty nice. I happy the dell oled isn't out because i'd have to buy that for the oled (but it is to small and old DP inputs)

Yeah but it still doesn't make sense that the early reviews out there from like Hexorus and JaystwoCents etc.. are all saying ~84C max under load. It makes me think that there's a bad batch of TIM or something. Was too tired to change the TIM last night, gonna try it today and see how it works.

I'm pretty sure i replied to this a page or two back, but basically i said that yes it is very close if not tied with two 980 TI's in SLI in most cases. Hell, in a few games i've tested it's FASTER!. This card is almost always ~30-35% faster than the GTX 1080, and the GTX 1080 was ~30% faster than the 980 TI; so this card at stock is around ~60-65% faster than the 980 TI.

With the average ~18-20% overclock this card becomes roughly ~78 - 85% faster than the 980 TI. Since SLI is never perfect this means the single Pascal TITAN X "IS" as fast as two 980 TI's in SLI; because most games only give ~80% extra performance AT MOST with a 2nd card in SLI added. Sometimes not even that. I think the only game i've seen ~85-90% extra from SLI in recent times is The Witcher 3, but even then it's only SLIGHTLY faster than the TITAN X while still having all the disadvantages of SLI. And i can point out many games that have WORSE SLI support, only giving maybe ~50-60% from an extra card.

Overall, this card is basically 980 TI SLI speeds, just like how EVERY other Pascal card is basically equal to two equivalent 900 cards in SLI. The GTX 1080 is almost always roughly as fast as two 980's in SLI, the GTX 1070 is almost always within ~10% of two 970's in SLI, the 1060 is about as fast as two 1060's in SLI etc..etc..

Is it possible that witcher3 is just too graphical powered to be really playable at 4k even with several setting downgraded ?. When i run in a city , if it rain and a lot of people appear my fps drop from 55-65 to 30 or 40 in one shot, that cause SEVERE stuttering VERY OFTEN, i tried vsync on and off, its the same thing. But in openworld with no rain and a few ennemies the stuttering dont happen often and fps is solid 60fps.

Is it possible that witcher3 is just too graphical powered to be really playable at 4k even with several setting downgraded ?. But my 1070 and 980ti were not stuttering at 4k, that is strange.

This is my pc, if you find something fishy:

Intel I5 4690 3.5ghz-3.9ghz
32gb ram ddr3 1600mhz
1tb wd black
Asus h97-plus
Antec power supply 750watts

That so bad , i found witcher3 more playable at 4k with my 1070 and 980ti, its so sad, only 35-45fps but no stuterring, with same graphics setting and same 4k resolution

Couldnt it be a CPU bottleneck?
I mean that I5 is running @ stock causing the game to choke with so many GPU horsepower.
I bet the same is gonna happen running BF4,
All other users here seem to be running 6700k's and up and dont have this problem, i put my money on the CPU as a culprit

And Dirt is GPU bound when maxed, not taxing on the CPU at all.

Anyways, im selling my 1080 and am gonna buy the Titan, its such a beast! especially when OC'ed
