On this test PCI-E 2x 8 is native, i just swap from PCI-E 16 slots, for PCI-E 8 slots.

Soon i will record test on my second PC with 7700K + 2x TX P vs 5930K + 2x TX P.

CPU with 40 PCI-E lanes is very important thing for maximized SLI performance.

And that's the problem with the whole situation since single core performance is better on the 7700K compared to any X99 CPU. You have to decide between maximum PCIE bandwidth or maximum single core performance which sucks a lot.

And it seems like Intel is continuing this stupid division with their upcoming 4 core CPU (supposedly the 7740K) for the X299 platform since it seems to be also limited in number of lanes frown.gif

Nvidia claim "1080Ti is faster than TITAN X", nope is not faster. ONLY in stock vs stock, and this is cuase better temperatures on 1080Ti and higher core clock.

Maybe soon i will buy TITAN Xp and compare vs 1080Ti and TX Pascal clock vs clock. But performance gain is not worthy in real scenarios.

On GPU-Z screen, you can see memory bandtwich, pixel fillrate and texture fillrate.

Please dont look at clocks on 3d mark, it bugged as alwyas, same GPU and CPU smile.gif Boost on GPU-Z is too misleading, beacuse GPU-Boost 3.0 is very strange smile.gif

Cards works on same clocks, TX P even throttle more, form 2012 to 1974/1961-1923.

1080Ti stay on 1974 most time.

I am satisfied with change 2x 1080Ti for 2x TITAN X Pascal, now time to LC them smile.gif

More reinforcement to my previous discussions that the TXP is superior to the 1080Ti.

The temperature of the Titans dropped significantly with the LIM. Went from approx. 55-60 degrees to 38-42 degrees under heavy load. CPU dropped from 80-85 to mid 60s.
The cards clock up to 2050MHz which is a nice result for me as I decided to not shunt mod them.
For the cards thats pretty much the limit but there's still should beplenty of OC potential for the CPU as I'm currently still using the profile I used before changing to LIM.
Im pretty happy with the results so far : http://www.3dmark.com/fs/12540052
What do you guys think?

Did not do anything near the mod you did to your card but I think you might wanna do some more tweaking.

It's pretty much the same card. I think the memory oc on the 1080Ti's are causing it to draw more power thus making the core clocks throttle more. 2cents.gif

I would like to see the card's compared clock for clock with out any power throttling. maybe at .925v and 1911Mhz to ensure no power throttlling.

either way the titan XP beats the 1080ti in pretty much all of OCN's benchmark threads......

Finally got the card installed, loop filled, and up and running yesterday. Have to say I'm super excited, such a better experience than my 290 Tri-fire setup, ugh.

It is a shame though that you can't pump more power to these things without mods. Did some quick overclocks last night just to test things out, was quite happy how relatively easy it was to get to 2113 and never broke 38*C

Haven't dialed and and stressed tested 24/7 OC's yet but I'm one happy camper

Looking at your system you may be able to increase your memory and clock settings a little bit. Disregard the physics and combined score because you're limited due to your CPU and memory speeds. Your graphics score on the other hand may be able to increase. Depending on your cooling.

Nice Supo score, 10K busted and then some!

Imo that max gpu temp. @38C is a good example of how effective moar rads can be, lol.
