[Official] NVIDIA Titan X Pascal Owners Thread - Page 94

Ugg I've played for like an hour and still can't find that exact spot in the screenshot. Is it before or after the scissor monsters? I took a screenshot in the grass anyway.

Game definitely hammers the CPU, mines at 90+% usage.

I was sayin... lol, you can play core-crippled all you like. Never had a 6, 8 or 10 core that made anything feel or be slow. And non-parallel (serial execution) is, today, poor programming "hygiene" tongue.gif

Feelings are not data points. You can feel however you like about it, but the benchmarks show a high-clocked quad core is still the best CPU for the vast majority of games.

So, this is supposed to be a Titan X owner thread, but all I see are non-owners complaining about the price.

for the moment I put it back on with non conductive tape. the gpu works, any idea what that resistor is for? its behind the memory, so maybe for memory? though it recognizes still 12gb, maybe my tape solution works too?

Bro spend the 50 to get it done right, or send the card back is my advice.

It started as a non-owners thread that's why you might have that impression. It turned out no one wanted to start one with a spreadsheet and staff.

no wants to start a spreadsheet because any one of us here that can afford 2+ of these cards probably have maids and employees or slaves that work under them

Agree you don't know what else could be up. But did you void warranty by doing that?
I just say the thread title be changed to owners club. Don't need a spreadsheet.

EDIT: just noticed it's already been changed. biggrin.gif

Hmm thinking about ordering parts up for a 6950X just to compare systems and keep the one I like. wink.gif

You must not have read much of it to say that... Plenty of benchmark results here. I haven't gotten around to running any benches or playing games with mine yet, but it's installed and waiting for me to get done with work so I can finally use it!
