I have been doing a lot of research on mice that have a good optical sensor and are light weight. My hand size is 19 cm by 9.5 cm and I play with a claw/palm grip but I don't mind adapting to fingertip if the mouse is too small. I play Counter-Strike primarily and I use 800 DPI with 1 sensitivity in game.

The biggest thing I'm looking for is a responsive sensor, which is why my ideal mouse would be a smaller Razer Deathadder. Does that type of mouse exist? The DA feels wayy more responsive than all of the mice I've used, and I've tried the Corsair M65, Zowie FK1, Logitech G303 and Steelseries Rival.
Also I don't mind not having side buttons (but they are definitely a plus).

The Zowie FK1 feels unresponsive compared to the DA, along with the shape being hard for me to grip. I'm iffy about using another Zowie mouse because of the responsiveness..

The Logitech G303 is my favorite out of the mice I've tried, but the shape and heavy chord make it feel like a small brick compared to the FK1, even if it weighs less.
Plus it doesn't feel as responsive as the DA.

And The M65 and The Rival are too big for me to use.

Mice that I have in mind:
- Mionix Castor
- Mionix Avior 7000
- Logitech g100s
- Logitech g300s
- Logitech g402
- Nixon Aurora
- QPAD DX-20
- Zalman 4k
- DM1 Pro
- Kana V2
- Roccat Kone Pure
- Roccat Savu
- Fnatic Flick G1
- Tt esports saphira
- Tt esports Ventus R
- Razer Abyssus
- Razer Krait 4g
- CM alcor
- CM spawn
- Genius m6-600
- Cougar 300m
- Cougar 450m
- Gigabyte xm300
- Asus ROG Gladius
- Asus ROG Sica
- Asus Strix Claw
- EVGA torq x5
- EVGA torq x3
- Func MS-2

you like the DA and want a smaller version of it, its called the zowie ec2-a but for now you'll have to settle for one with a 3310 which is the same sensor as in the Fk1 that you don't like so much.

you are right about the S3988 in the DA feeling super nice, i've been using mine in a long stretch while waiting for the new logitech mouse to be released, or an ec2 with a 3360 in it.

its the nicest sensor i've used (besides 3366) and the only thing razer does right, i can't touch any 3310 mouse anymore and the current logitech shapes/weights are garbage.

thanks for the feedback!

I see that razer came out with a Abyssus v2. Does anyone know if it's as responsive as the deathadder?
Also, I've been told that its not necessarily the sensor, but the implementation that affects the responsiveness.. I'm just wondering if there's a 3310 or 3090 mouse that feels better than the zowie mice.
