Hi again

Thought I'd send a picture of the TEC package from Wellentech.
Really well cushioned.

@Tool, i think it was you requesting images of my old Tecs to look for cracks. I think i might not have had the right pressure, but doesnt look like they are cracked even tho there are screw Holes in the block.

And other side

I just wiped the corners where the srew holes were

Cheers Toe

My reason for posting is I have duplicated what OC has done and it works really well. I don't use 3 TEC units, only 2, but they suffice for now. I'm running a 2700K @ 5.2ghz Hyperthreading enabled with a new Pascal Titan X GPU. I obviously am running win 7. I typically play games starting at 10c and my temps might reach 13c momentarily but always drop back down. This is intense gaming FPS. Anything less and I have to monitor my temps so they don't get too low.

Perhaps there may be some fine tuning that would make this system more efficient but I've been so happy with the way it does work I just use it. Been running this untouched for about 3+ years now. Oh, had to replace a cooling fan and I did top off the coolant. Distilled water is what I use.

I'd hate to see terminology get in the way of such a successful cooling system as this. It works very good and I'm glad I took the time and effort to duplicate it. The fact is it does work and as time goes by I'm sure something will come up to cause me to tinker around with it again. I enjoy that too but I volunteer 40+ hours a week now and having this kind of performance and reliability speaks for itself and fits my humble needs perfectly.

Thank you for your interest in this subject and reading my post. Have to go and start my volunteering shortly. Have a good day.smile.gif

Thank You Sir, I really Appreciate You Posting!

Do you mind taking a few pictures of your setup and posting them?

Below are some shots I took this morning. Hope this works for you. I include a screen shot of a Firestrike run. This is my PC with the side cover off.
What my two cases look like. That house hold switch up in the right hand corner controls one of my peltiers.
My 'Cooling" tower in it's own case.
That is the radiator I use to cool my GPU.
This is my score with Firestrike, not Ultra or Extreme.

This is one of the blocks I used between the peltier hot side and air cooler.
