Yes you can and there are programs that do it for you.
If you Root your phone to get access to the system folders why is it difficult to install an application on Windows where you are already an admin and you have full access to everything?

Install them then use wireshark, you will be surprised to see that it still communicates with the telemetry servers...

Show me evidence then, I'm tired of these exaggerations.

I done it once, after i seen this in wireshark i dumped win10 immediately:

This domain is linked to a company that provides hosting to MS and the domain is pretty much obvius.

And BTW this isnt a solution, this will be just an uneding whack-a-mole game with MS. With the abuse of forced updates they can change the domains any time...

If you are paranoid and like to waste your time I don't see the problem.

Also this type of application updates itself periodically and blocks new microsoft domains, you haven't shown anything new.
It's waste of time anyway, but at least we have no problem giving our information to Facebook or Google.

While I'm not sure of the ethical nature of this sort of notification, I don't blame them for saying something. Chrome is such a well-known menace to battery life and most people don't really realize that. My HP Elitebook 2560P can get 5-6 hours of battery life on Edge but struggles to crack 3 running Chrome.

And thats the main difference there, google and fb only knows what you chose to give them. On the other hand win10 have access to literally everithing and we dont know how much info is sent to MS. End of this flawed argument...

As long as you are connected to the internet Google and Facebook will collect everything they can about you and we are talking mostly about very personal stuff.
From the data I've seen now Microsoft mainly collets OS usage, app uses, time played, time PC was on and other similar statistics. If you have information that Microsoft scans and opens your precious secret document and files on your PC let's see it.
