Edit: With that build , are you also suggesting to go with Fury + freesync monitor instead of the 980ti/1070 but a cheaper 1440p monitor
if you perceive the vsync input lag then yes, if not then go with the cheaper monitor

also you can get a cheap r9 290x r9 390/x as a place holder and upgrade with the rx 490 or the r9 fury x replacement

What games do you play or are looking forward to playing?

The best overall and least expensive experience would be a Fury + 1440p freesync monitor. I'd even go as far as grabbing the cheapest AIB RX480 to tide you over until Vega if you go for a Freesync monitor, the games you play will effect this situation though.

Cheapest R290x I can find sits around ~300 Euro , which is 50 EUR cheaper than the Sapphire Fury and Im not sure if it's worth it. Cheapest 480 4 GB is 250.

The game that Im really looking forward to play , but can't is probablyThe withcher 3. Besides that , my library consists of all kinds of games that my PC cant handle atm (Shadow of mordor , Batman , Saints Row , Indie games etc...)

So far Im leaning towards the Fury + 14409 144hz monitor. Thx for the responses

Edit: Which cooler do you suggest ?

Nitro, while it is very similar to the Tri-X R9 Fury, the nitro has slightly better components and overall is marginally cooler. The R9 Fury Tri-X I had was probably the quietest card I've ever owned with incredibly respectable temps.

Thx for the heads up thumb.gif but PontiacGTX mentioned that Cooler master 212 is overhyped for it's perfomance , so I asked which cooler would he suggest.

depending on which store you can buy from and your budget, the case you have support cpu coolers up to 180-150mm

So would you say that the Cooler master 212 is the best in it's price range. I will probably get something better down the line , but atm I have around 40 EUR for a cooler.

For aorund that price tag
Cooler Master hyper 612, Scythe mugen Max, Scythe mugen 4,Raijintek Ereboss, Thermalright Macho Direct and other are a better choice , then checking on the online store you can buy from I can see what other cpu cooler you can get for 40eur
