Soldering LEDs to non backlit razer blackwidow 2014?

So, I've got this keyboard lying around and today i took it apart to see if i could solder led without having to buy resistors too but since i can't see the other side of the pcb without desoldering everything, i came here to ask you biggrin.gif. Is it possible to just put the led through the switch hole and solder it or do i need to buy resistors too?

I guess I'll have to solder resistors too but maybe someone has already tried this, who knows. rolleyes.gif .

In case someone cares: the pcb is the same for both versions, the non ultimate version also includes the resistors, so all you'd need to do is solder the leds onto the pcb and done.

The LEDs would be in always-on state then, I assume?

I haven't soldered them yet(waiting for the leds) but since i can control the led in the logo through synapse(breathing, off, intensity) and also with fn+f11 and fn+f12 I see no reason to believe I can't control them unless the logo has its own circuit.
