Tablet for College + more

Thread Starter
I'm wondering if there are any decent tablet that I could use for college.
It would have to be able to used for ebooks like this one

I also noted that it states:
"This title is not supported on Kindle e-Readers or the Kindle for Windows 8 app.
* To read this title on Windows 7, 8, or 10, you can use the Kindle for PC app."

Would a cheap ~150$ "laptop" would instead of a tablet?

If you are just using it for eBooks, get the tablet. Touch screen and the form factor of the tablet is preferable for reading.
If you are using it for much more than eBooks and internet, a tablet is junk.

If you can afford it, look at the transformer type devices where you have a laptop with a detachable touch screen. In my op. this is the most useful thing to get if you are considering a tablet -- it will run a full OS!

I've never seen a single human being in my life do anything productive with a tablet, or achieve anything (work output) in a reasonable time frame. They are not productivity devices, they are toys/gimmicks. tongue.gif

I currently use a Dell Venue 8 Pro for school to take notes and read ebooks/pdf and i works flawlesly. But i don´t use the kindle app, most of the books i have are epub or pdf.

You can find them used on ebay for $80-150usd aprox.
