Noob Questions about Voltages in a i5 750 P7P55D Rig

Thread Starter
Hi, that's my first post and i hope i've not posted in a totally wrong section of the forum.

Introduction of the problem:
My RIG is more than 6 years old and it's time to squeeze all the juice from it before upgrading with a whole new PC. That's my first time attempting to overclock anything. I've started by buying a decent PSU and a decent cooler and now i'm "researching" how to actually overclock my old i5 750.

The problem
I've started to install programs like AIDA and CPU-Z as a preliminary step before attempting anything and started to "record" some scores, thermals and so on to actually have a baseline. I've looked at Voltage charts in AIDA and i've seen some strange things (pics).

The very simple question
Is everything OK? Just to avoid overclocking when, at stock settings, the voltages aren't all that clean maybe because of the Mobo or CPU wear due to use (6Years+) that will actually risk to fail if stressed too much.

TL;DR: Are voltages like the PCH, PLL, IMC supposed to fluctuate that much at stock everything?

I'm sorry for this very simple question but googling didn't help a bit.

Ive never tried overclocking a older system so i cant say for any degradation reasons and im still getting my feet wet with overclocking but i do know that stock voltages are insane sometimes and seem way to freaking high when they are actually just fine, i honestly wouldnt worry about it as long as the system is stable and isnt having any issues then it can be assumed that it has been running those numbers for a long time and its just fine, hope this helps a bit and maybe someone else will have more info to help you with. biggrin.gif
