Just looked into the s3668 ..

Seeeeems like a good candidate for swap...

Although it's a much older sensor..

Does anyone know if the mechanical quadrature output are all the same when the PPR is equivalent.

I am thinking about getting an alps to replace the stock one.

Maybe good for desktop use, but in games I doubt that grip would give you enough precision.

There's no way to hold that damn mouse.... it's just too short vertically..

I've tried.. hahahaha....

Also, g303 wouldn't fit in there..

Vertical may be the optimal configuration for palmers, yes, but for fingertippers, a mousepad-sized 5-point trackpad is the holy grail in terms of hand position.

You can use a fingertip grip with this vertical mouse.. biggrin.gif..

This is mostly about wrist comfort..

Is the sensor firmly secured? Does it rattle at all when you flick the mouse? If you can even flick such a thing.
Great mod, more pictures of the process would have been nice.

A bit of epoxy or hot glue = bye-bye rattle.

No, what you are describing is merely gripping with your fingertip. I'm talking about fingertip movement.

Yes, you can do fingertip movement with this mouse.. It's not so huge that you have to palm it.. unless your hands are really small.. or just very short fingers..hahaha
