Well, atleast you know that Windows isn't causing the issue. USB headsets have their own internal "audio card".

Which means it is either your motherboard audio or the speakers which is broken. This is why I asked you to try a 3.5mm headset, since it would use your motherboard audio and let us confirm if the issue is the motherboard or not.
