What reservoir and pump top?

Thread Starter
Im buying the d5 vario from EK and i was looking at their reservoir to go along with it but will i need a pump top also if i plan to mount the res and pump directly together? I would buy one of their pump/res combo but i dont want a pwm pump so im kinda putting my own pump/res combo together just want to make sure i get it all. Im going to be running a EK Coolstream 360 PE in the front of my Corsair air 540 with just the cpu for now. Will be adding gpu blocks when i get around to upgrading my gpu's. I already have the tubing and radiator. Just need the pump, reservoir, cpu block and fittings. Fittings i will just pick up at my local microcenter but any other help would be GREATLY appreciated. This is my first ever liquid cooled build of any kind.

im just not really sure i want pwm. The thought of my pump constantly changing speeds just isn't something that sounds good to me. I like the set screw on the d5 vario. I can just set it and forget about it. I'm just not sure if i need a pump top to mount the reservoir directly to the pump?

Exactly and if you want a longer tube you can buy a separate tube and replace the small one on your pump/res. thumb.gif
