i5 4590T over G3258, is it worth it?

Thread Starter
My dad is buying a Dell Optiplex 3020 SFF for daily basic use (web browsing, ms office, youtube) which comes with a i5 4590T preinstalled, so i was thinking about changing it for my Pentium G3258 and take the i5 4590T for me. Is there any real advantage over the G3258?, i can't find any benchmark about it so i can't measure the diference between them.

TL;DR, is the i5 4590T better than the Pentium G3258?

Thanks is advance! biggrin.gif

http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=i5+4590t you can compare Geekbench results!

EDIT: 3258@ 4.2 vs 4590t

http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/compare/7522322?baseline=7546580

Pentium wins only in single score, so go with i5 for daily use!
