[GamerNexus] AMD 16.7.3 drivers causing crashes and limiting overclocking.

Can anyone here confirm these issues? The hard crashes seems to be an issue for some people but the memory OC limit seems to be widespread.
I haven't had any issues with crashing. Noticed the clock drop though.

Haven't noticed anything with my 7950, but I haven't been watching memory clocks TBH.

Only issue I had on the Windows 7 driver was limited memory OC. 2050 limit compared to 2250 before.

Installed Windows 8.1 and used an older driver, problem solved.

So this driver isn't causing crashes or any issues besides the memory OC limit?
Read about this, does this only affect if you're overclocking?

Not updating until fix confirmed.

Not good of AMD this time. Even though I only have a paltry Mem OC, due to not being able to flash this damned card's BIOS, I still don't want to lose that 25MHz OC (yeah, it's that bad).

I've been playing Doom Demo with 1129/1500 on my r9 290 and no problems, Futuremark sysinfo causes hard lockups tho, even before you manage to press anything (on 3dmark launch, on clicking 'benchmarks', on clicking 'run test' or even while testing), but it's been like that since they added TimeSpy. SSam 3 also ran fine, if i remember correctly (i've played it yesterday but i'm not sure if i updated before starting the game or after finishing with it).

Memory clock limit is definite, but seems fine otherwise. Wattman crashes if you enter it after playing a game though, but lets you in after 2nd try.

My screen goes black right after I log into windows. It might be when afterburner applies the overclock that this happens, but I don't have memory overclocked. I had to boot to safe mode to do anything.

Uninstalling and going back to 16.7.2
