I was also meaning that I was wondering how my 4 years old 1GB 1GHz mid range GPU is not suffering from 'late texture popup' than that GTX 770. biggrin.gif
I think JHH forgot to mention about that texture popping issue Feature . but all my 560ti/670/970/980ti had that feature in some games.

Ohai, but i'm not sure i'll buy another Nv gpus anymore after what i saw when i used 290x/970 ( and 980ti for a week or two). i don't even play any games anymore either so don't even need any gpu.
too bad AMD didn't have any alternative for 3dvision, that is the reason why i was stuck with nvidia most of the time.

"AMD pics good games to conspire with...." !

LOL What in the world you are talking about ?
AMD donated low level API to Khronos, Khronos made the Vulkan open, Nvidia went to Khronos and got the company registered as supporting vendor because they must have added some vendor specific extensions or proposed to do so. ID used Khronos's vulkan for their game engine.

Where did you see any AMD logo in Doom ? wink.gif

You can't see any AMD logos in doom, but you can see Nvidia showing doom running @200fps using Vulkan on GTX1080's launch.

I still have doubts, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Not sure what you're referring to... But DirectX 11.3 includes feature levels FL12_0 and FL12_1. Maybe that's what your post is related to.

Sadly, many of the more important FL12_0 features have been moved to 'optional features' both under DX11.3 and DX12:thumb:, and those just happen to be AMD's best features.
