This is a must buy if you have a 4K TV,atleast until someone releases a decent priced bluray player rolleyes.gif

However, it unfortunately doesn't seem to support Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Dolby Vision. Which is really annoying.

The size of the One S is the size it should've launched as to begin with!

So a bit of an OCed GPU, and HDMI 2.0? This means that games will just upscale and not really render in 4K.
I expected a new GPU, maybe a cut down polaris.
I don't understand why they are just going to stick with a few years old tech for the next few years? More of a cheap way to milking the hell out of the current tech, in order to convince people to upgrade.

Think of this Xbox One S as a shrink. The new performance Xbox (Scorpio) will come next year.

What this talk about BR players? Is BR still used in other countries?
I havent seen any physical media in a year now.. Except for old inventory at gass stations perhaps.
Last place where you could rent BR and DVDs in the city where I live, shut down years ago.

Not trying to sound like a dick, but the posts above made it sound like most people still buy BR players.

You have to if you want movies in 4K. A new whole standard has been delevoped for 4K with BD's taking up to 100 GB per disc. So you need a new player capable of reading such discs.

This is HD revolution all over again.

I'd say that's pretty decent^
Now it makes me wonder what the Polaris lineup would be like if they used TSMC instead of GloFo.

Speaking of power reduction that is quite impressive, and while slightly pushing the system faster.
