Hi,

I see gaming series for those two kind of motherboards X99 and Z170 chips so what is the different ? for example since I can game at high settings with z170 why I would buy expensive x99 motherboard ?

I can' t think of a reason unless you needed exta PCIe lanes for to graphics cards or some other reason
