What the hell is this!? Unexpected when I checked my local PC store today.

Mouse looks like a nice shape. Wish it was 3360!

The mouse looks like the current Razer Abyssus, so that's cool. Don't know a whole lot about the 3050, so I can't comment on that.
Why do so many mice use multiples of 500cpi instead of 400cpi? It feels like the industry standard changed over night.

3050 has always had steps like that. The only supported steps are 250, 500, 1000, 1250, 1500, 1750 and 2000, I believe. 3050 is a really old sensor so it's more likely that it's changed from multiples of 500 to multiples of 400.

Also, why they didn't use the 3320 I don't understand. Why do they keep using EoL sensors?

What's the deal with that keyboard, is "mem-chanical" their take on topre switches or are they just trying to jazz up normal membrane keyboards via marketing?

There is very few topre options and unfortunately I have not ever seen a topre keyboard which supports PS/2 through an adaptor... but when one appears I'll be sure to grab it

i can't say i would bother caring about ps/2 but whatever.

I prefer it biggrin.gif feels a little better and you can use it on any old computers you may have at work/home. But for such high-end keyboards you'd expect NKRO or at least ps/2 :[

Marketing
There are no springs
But it may feel better than most modern rubber domes, if it's sturdy enough
