Silverback WS server, good choice for radio station?

Hello!

I am totally new to servers and internet radio. Just started to research the options.

Would you comment on whether or not the Silverback WS server available from Systems76 is a good choice for starting an internet radio with an audience of up to 200 listeners?

It should work fine, although if i'm not horribly mistaken it would be massive overkill. Your internet connection is gonna matter a heck of a lot more than the box running it.

Thank you!

Intuitively I was feeling it was too much too but I liked the idea of using Ubuntu

Hello again!

The Silverback WS server can be customized down a bit.

With the following config will I still be a-OK for up to 200 listeners?

Intel Xeon processor 2.10 GHz ES-2620

32 GB ECC DDRA

500 GB 2.5" SSD

2 GB Ethernet

Will this comfortably work either with a T1 connection or with an internet radio broadcasting provider?

Thank you
