I think the first thing I learned about windows was the fact that the page file was 1.5 x your ram and not double. That was so long ago, I think it may be different now thumb:!

Only problem with this update was MSI AB would crash my system every time I made a change in the settings not related to overclocking.

The reality is, you don't have to rush it. You are not missing on big things anyway. Don't rush the 1607 update, maybe they'll fine tune and put 1610 by the time it comes through auto update to your computer. (less bugs)

Windows 8.1 doesn't do 2x the ram either. I have 64GB of ram and the page file is only 2.5GB.

my biggest issue was drivers. i have pro and first thing i did was turn off driver updates. every few patches win 10 was nope you need this video driver one (always 5 months old). after this update win 10 while in a game would downgrade my video driver. i finally got on with their support and i had to explain in harsh works their drivers were crappy old ones and thats not how you do video drivers. and i want win 10 to not touch my drivers ever. 45 min later the idiot had to go to a supervisor to approve turning off driver updates. (are you fing kinding me? i had pro. one reason i had it) i just wish she didnt go through the regedit so damn fast to actually see what she turned off. all i know it was in a windows/ driver update string.
cant believe the crap they are pulling.

this tale is alot more harsh cause the person was an idiot wanting me to install what windows update had. and the driver i had was a third party one. ((it was from amd) fing idiots

3. Let me crash your game and fail to enable creative for voice. Note, before the update this worked fine.
4. You turned your machine off? Not an issue, let me go online to install the driver for your WiFi stick. Sorry, I cannot install it because I am not connected to the internet. Install the drivers, stick works fine, turn the machine off, turn windows 10 super Mario update on ? Stick is not installed. Go back to the drawing board.
5. Oh, I noticed you have a G700s mouse. Let me update the driver for you. Done, driver updated, but your device now has an Error 42 because a problem has been detected and windows has prevented start up. Seriously? Took me one hour to fix last night buy using 3 different cables and removing all my USB drivers and chipset drivers.
6. Oh, you have chosen UAT off, let me block your intel chipset install for no reason.

Seriously Microsoft, keep the good work! The more I work on your windows machine, the more I love my Apple OS devices thumb.gif!

The new start menu? Please, who cleared that for final release? May I have their number to express a few of our customs? biggrin.gif

7. You turned Windows Defender off? How cute. Here, let me turn that back on for you...
8. I see you're really busy finishing that spreadsheet for work tomorrow. Oops. Windows has to reboot to finish installing some updates. I hope you saved your work first. XOXOXOX
