Yeah I was wondering about that, my desktop got the 1511 cumulative update this morning, 2 days after my laptop was updated to 1607.  Just some fixes and security patches, typical Patch Tuesday stuff.

1511 - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3176493

1607 - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3176495

What I found kind of odd...hopefully my drives are setup correctly but I have the USB eject option for both my SSD's in the taskbar...even my main C drive has the option to "eject" really? Windows would cannibalize itself with this option? It's actually kinda tempting to try it...lol rolleyes.gif

Some motherboards have always been that way. I have to mess with the registry to get those options to go away on mine.

Depends on the sata ports on the mobo. Two of my six storage drives are the same way.

Guess it won't matter much since I'll have a new motherboard/CPU/DDR4 in hopefully a month or so...thumb.gifthumb.gifthumb.gifthumb.gifthumb.gif

Hopefully you'll never see that problem again. Some motherboards still have e-sata ports next to normal ones, even thou they have e-sata ports on the back io panel.

Was I only one, on a desktop, who had a absolutely useless action center (tablet center) and no display brightness adjuster on w10pro?

I thought doing this powercfg -h off turns off fast startup? I even tried unchecking fast startup but it was doing the same thing.

I tried installing Wine (Windows compatibility layer for Linux) on the Linux-compatibility mode, but it didn't let me.. biggrin.gif
Code:
$ sudo apt-get install wine
