Point? Please name at least 3 commonly played modern games that actually scale VERY WELL with 3+ SLI. most do great in 2 way. 3 way is the bugger, and already requires developer support to control how the game engine utilizes the 3rd card.

I see zero purpose in investing into active gaming support for 3 or 4 way when the average gamer either has 1 great card or 2 moderate or good cards anyways.

the people who have 3 or more cards in SLI make up less than 1% of gaming enthusiasts

every game i played except for doom in the last year made full use of my 4 way 680 setup and 3 way 7970 before it, if you are expecting good scaling at low tier res the you arent too bright
