Ok, so the Titan X may be the lust item of my dreams, but there is no way i can afford it. Looks like the RX470 might be a bit more in my budget lol

We love to lust after the latest high-end hardware. It's in our DNA. But just as most coffee enthusiasts can only dream of owning a $7000 La Marzocco, Titan X cards are simply beyond most gamers' budgets. Architecturally, there's nothing new to say about the "Ellesmere" GPU-it's the same 5.7 billion transistor processor we introduced in our AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB Review, manufactured on GlobalFoundries' 14nm FinFET process and occupying 232 square millimeters of die space.
On the topic of dollars, we've never seen AMD so reluctant to discuss pricing. Hours before the RX 470's introduction, we were handed a suggested $179 figure. However, there is no "reference" design, so it's unclear what you'll find at that price. Asus passed along that the Strix RX 470 OC Edition we tested would sell for $200, with the non-overclocked model offered at $195.
At 4GB if they can keep the price it should be a killer value card. Even at 8GB better than the 480 to which it can be close but could be much cheaper.
This puts "premium" Radeon RX 470 cards at the same level as reference-class 4GB RX 480s, which doesn't make sense. Small performance delta aside, at $200, a Radeon RX 480 is the better buy.

When I asked our head of news "What would you buy if you had $210?" he responded "I'd beg on the streets for $40 more if I have to and buy 1060."
Yeah because the massive demand for Polaris is AMD's fault... Wait, I guess it is. Except, they go in and out of stock every day. I have 4 480s and it wasn't hard.
As far as 470 pricing... Well, they are all custom and AIB's aren't dumb. They know the demand and know a lot of people will settle for the 470.
where do you even see them in PL ? I can't find a single one.
TBH I'm surprised seeing comments so far, I thought RX470 at $50 less than RX480 with 2048 cores and same 256-bit bus is gonna be the underdog and get more praise than rx480, especially considering it's clocked lower out of the box but reaches the same core speed as rx480 after oc so the only difference would be 250 sp units.
Why AMD, why? At $159.99 reference, with a max of $179.99 for AIB models this thing would reclaim a vast amount of marketshare from the GTX 1060 and put you on the map. Now with a reference price of $179.99 and AIB models coming in at a ridiculous $209 and $220, this is more like the real RX 480 and the RX 480 should be called the RX 480X.
This was supposed to be named and priced one tier below but be exceptional value for money because it would perform very, very well. With this price they just show that they don't know how to position themselves to storm the market. They aren't competing normally with Nvidia, they have to reconquer marketshare. How on earth do they think they are going to do it with this pricing strategy?

I am not going to buy them in Poland. It is cheaper to get them from Germany.
